Taylor William Carson, of Iberia, was born on June 12, 1992, at Osage Beach, a son David Lester and Dana Lee (Lawson) Carson and departed this life on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the general Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood. Taylor had attained the age of 24 years, 11 months and 27 days.
Taylor was baptized at the age of 14 years while attending the Church of Christ in Louisiana and was a graduate of the Crocker Schools. He had worked as a mechanic, logger and in construction. Some of his favorite pass times were fishing, hunting, and four wheeling. Taylor was a "loyal friend" to all.
Those left to mourn the passing of Taylor include: his father, David Carson; his mother, Dana Carson; grandmothers, Carol Carson Poteet and Marilyn Lawson; grandfather, Bill Carson; two sisters, Tasheena Carson and Meghan Carson; his fiancé, Kate Bildner; uncles, Daniel Carson, Mike Lynch, Darren Carson and Steve Lawson; great-uncles, Jimmy Carson and Ronnie Carson; his aunts, Rene Pardue, Sherry Grube, Shelly Lawson, Karen Lawson, Carol Carson, Linda Carson, Deborah Lynch, Lisa Morgan and Melissa Anderson; special cousins, Annie Carson, Chris Carson, Cody Carson, Jason Simmons and Corey Pardue; other cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
Taylor was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert L. Poteet, Lester and Edna Carson, Gerry F. Strutton, Morley Strutton, Grace Brown and T.E. Brown.
Funeral services were held for Taylor at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in the Dixon Church of Christ with Jarrod Harp officiating.
Interment was in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker. Pallbearers for Taylor were Chris Carson, Darren Carson, Daniel Carson, J.J. Simmons, Ethan Houghton, Lonnie Pardue and Larry Zeigenbein.
Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family with envelopes at the Dixon Church of Christ at 12000 Highway 28, Dixon or the office of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
