Terry Dean Brooks, of Dixon, was born on August 5, 1962, at Lacrosse, Wisconsin, a son of Francis Goodwin and Jeanette Lucille (Berg) Brooks and departed this life at 11:16 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at his residence near Dixon. Mr. Brooks had attained the age of 56 years, 3 months and 15 days.

Mr. Brooks was united in marriage on November 12, 2011 at Rockland, Wisconsin to Sheryl K. Walters. He was preceded in death by his parents and his parents-in-law.

Mr. Brooks loved his job working for the City of Dixon in the Maintenance Department and cherished the moments spent with two special guys, Earnie M. and Josh L. He will forever be grateful for your friendship. Mr. Brooks loved Missouri and Sturgis. He enjoyed four wheeling, riding motorcycles, tinkering with vehicles, loved Classic Rock music especially Jackyl, enjoyed NASCAR racing and playing with RC cars. A man of many toys and dreams.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Brooks include: his wife, Sheryl Brooks, Dixon; one son, Aaron Tracy; two step-sons, James Reed and his wife, Heather and Jeremy Reed and his wife Lisa, three step-daughters, Melissa Lane; Marsha Bertram and her husband, Brad and Michelle Reed; one brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Paula Brooks; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Robert Jensen and Viola and Antone Flikkeshaug; eight step-grandchildren, Kourtney, Savannah, Jacob, Derek, Ashley, Lucas, Willy and Tylor; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Mr. Brooks from 10 until 11 a.m., on Friday, November 30, 2018, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with Pastor Jerry Dooley, Word of Life Fellowship Church, Dixon officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made per the wishes of the family in memory of Terry Dean Brooks.
