Terry Eugene Clark, age 78, of rural Dixon, was born on March 16, 1947, in Providence Hospital in Kansas City, a son of Albert Harold and Gladys LaVerna (Anderson) Clark and passed from this life on Monday, October 27, 2025 at his residence.
Terry was united in marriage on August 16, 1969, in Wichita, Kansas to Miss Marita Mardell Lamp, and to this union, two sons were born.
Terry was a member of the Santee Community Church, Dixon, where he had served faithfully for many years. He graduated from Wyandotte High School, Kansas City, Kansas, in 1965. He started college at Kansas State University then transferred to the University of Missouri where he received a bachelor's degree in forestry in 1970. Terry then entered the United States Army as a first lieutenant at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. In 1971 he was assigned to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for his four years of service after which he transitioned into a job at the Rolla Forestry Service. After his forestry career he came back to Dixon to manage the MFA Bulk Feed Plant. After several years he transferred to the Crocker MFA Bulk Plant and for the last few years he worked at the Crocker MFA Fertilizer Plant. In 2008 Terry retired from the MFA and returned to a life of fulltime farming.
Those left to mourn the passing of Terry include: his wife of 56 years, Marita Clark of the home near Dixon; his son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Casey Clark, Brinktown; daughter-in-law, Tisha Clark, Fayette; grandson, Cameron Jones, Fayette; one sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Keith Pollet, Moundridge, Kansas and many other relatives and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by one son, Dr. Kendal Woolf Clark; his parents, Albert and Gladys and one brother, Larry Clark.
Visitation will be held for Terry from 9:00 a.m. until the time of his memorial service at 11:00 a.m. all on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Santee Community Church, 20174 Highway 133, Dixon, Missouri with Pastor Shannon Perry officiating.
A private interment will be held at a later date on the Clark Family Farm near Dixon, under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to the Dr. Kendal Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund with envelopes available at the church the day of his service or c/o the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home, P.O. Box GG, Dixon, MO 65452.
