Tiney Doris Lutz, 87, of Dixon was born on February 27, 1934 at Mitchell, South Dakota, a daughter of Russell and Leah (Fisher) Bell and departed this life at 6:11 p.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Lutz was united in marriage on January 1, 1953, in Mitchell, South Dakota, to Mr. Donald Francis Lutz and to this union, six children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 20, 1976; her parents, Russell and Leah; sons, Donald Lee "Rusty" Lutz on February 23, 1980 and Timothy Wayne Lutz on January 29, 2011; daughter, Leah Jo Davis on November 15, 2010; grandson, Justin Wayne Lutz on December 28, 2010; two great-grandsons, Seth and Charles Rector, her brothers, Richard Bell, James Bell, and Edward Bell and sisters, Goldie Kistler, Gladys Kistler, Violet Ferreira and Jeanette Gustafson.
Mrs. Lutz had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at a young age while attending the Salvation Army with her mother. She worked at Fort Leonard Wood for AAFES for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing solitare, watching Jeopardy, her flowers, going to auctions, collecting antiques and traveling. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She enjoyed time with her family, filling their lives with many precious memories.
Those left to cherish her memories include: her children, Debra Lutz, Eddie Lutz and his wife, Sandy and Randy Lutz, all of Dixon; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
Visitation from 10 a.m. until service service time at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 9, 2021 in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ryan Hogshooter, Grace Community Church, Dixon officiating.
Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Pallbearers for Mrs. Lutz are Bobby Miller, Mike Williams, Matt Rector, Matt Honse, Daniel Hogshooter and Lukas Hogshooter. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Larson, Bill Husted, Bill Lutz, Kenny Lutz and her great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested per the wishes of the family with envelopes available at the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
