Uda Marga Scott, of Dixon, was born on June 12, 1943, at Manheim, Germany, and departed this life at 10:55 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2015, in the University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia. Mrs. Scott had attained the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 13 days.

Mrs. Scott was united in marriage on April 18, 1969, at Manheim, Germany, to John Francis Scott and to this union, they were blessed with one child. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Mrs. Scott was a devoted military housewife and homemaker and was always diligent in providing for the needs of her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Scott include: her husband, John F. Scott, of the home in Dixon; one daughter and son-in-law, Francine and Jeffrey Morgan, Havelock, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Autumn Leidecker and Christopher Morgan; close family friend, Robert Baker; and many other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service was held for Mrs. Scott at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2015, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Dixon.
