Vera Marie Hock, age 83, of Crocker, was born on March 9, 1939, at Crocker a daughter of Raymond and Henrietta (Porter) Singleton and departed this life at 1:08 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence.

Vera was united in marriage on May 9, 1994, at Crocker to Mr. Robert Hock. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 16, 2006; her father, Raymond Singleton on July 23, 1945; her mother, Henrietta Stoumbaugh on January 21, 2005; her step-father, Andrew Stoumbaugh on July 28, 2005; her brother, Clyde Raymond Singleton on February 14, 1939 and one sister, Vonia Dyer on April 20, 2014.

Vera made a profession of faith in Christ and was baptized on October 1, 1961. She was a devoted and loving housewife and homemaker to all her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Vera include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Richard and Susan Alexander, Richland and Randy Alexander and his companion, Kris of Swedeborg; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Mark Moore of Crocker; five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Adam), Keith (Rachel), Nathan (Simone), Rachel and Nick; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Zetta Myers, Richland and many other relatives and friends.

The family will host a private gathering at a later date and time. Vera will be laid to rest next to beloved husband in the Crocker Cemetery.
