William Edward Hogshooter, 65, of Dixon, was born on April 30, 1955, at Superior, Arizona, a son of William Dempsey and Sarah (Sinor) Hogshooter and departed this life at his residence on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Mr. Hogshooter was preceded in death by his father, William Dempsey on November 17, 1961; his mother, Sarah on February 1, 2019; one grandson, Ty; two brothers, Charles Hogshooter and Robert Hogshooter and one sister, Wanda Hogshooter.

Mr. Hogshooter had worked in construction for over thirty years. He was a member of the Cherokee Indian Nation and enjoyed fishing, having bible studies and reading his bible.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Hogshooter include: two sons, William Gosnell (Sharon Dean) of Colorado and Shawn Hogshooter (Amanda) of Dixon; two daughters, Sabrina Gosnell Hubbard, Cheyenne, Wyoming and Teresa Hogshooter and her companion, Terry Hertzing, Vienna; one brother, Carmen (Mary) Hogshooter, Dixon; two sisters, Brenda O'Neal, of Florida and Jeanie Chavez of California; eleven grandchildren, Layne, Kayla, Bella, Dakota, Saraid, Lanie, Candace, Shea, Talon, Nathan and Keaton; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will host a memorial visitation from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in the First Assembly of God, Dixon.
