William Newman "Bill" Laughlin, age 76, of Crocker, was born January 13, 1948, at Waynesville, Missouri, a son of Claude Earl and Pauline A. (Nickels) Laughlin, and passed from this life Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Bill was baptized early in life, and was a member of the Mount Gibson Baptist Church, Waynesville. For his entire working life, Bill was a real estate agent, and a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed spending time on the farm tending to his cattle and horses, and loved spending time with his family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Bill include: his significant other, Stephanie Leuthen; his son, Andy Laughlin and wife, Sheila of St. James; two grandchildren, Austin Laughlin and wife, Brianna of Montreal, and Grant Laughlin and wife, Rikkilynn of St. James; three great-grandchildren, Kingsley Laughlin, Maverick Laughlin, and Knox Laughlin; two sisters, Jackie Flynt and husband Burke of Springfield, and Judy Laughlin of Waynesville; and many other relatives and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Claude on June 19, 2006; his mother, Pauline on December 22, 2016; one brother, Bobby Laughlin; and one sister, Jean Laughlin.

Following the wishes of Bill, the family elected cremation under the direction of Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
