Winona Elsie Lankow, age 87, of Linn Creek, was born on February 24, 1939, at Dixon, a daughter of Snowden and Eva (Rogers) Burnett and passed from this life on Friday evening, June 5, 2026 at her residence.
Mrs. Lankow was united in marriage on September 20, 1990, at Linn Creek to Mr. Tom Allen Lankow.
Mrs. Lankow was baptized early in life and had attended the Sweet Home Church, then Hilltop Christian Church, both of Crocker and at the time of her passing she attended the Corner Stone Baptist Church, Richland. In her early years she had worked in several local restaurants; she was owner and operator of Winnie's Western Wear in Crocker and later worked as a Correction Office for Camden County retiring on January 15, 2015. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting and working word search books.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Lankow include: her husband, Tom Lankow, Linn Creek; her daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Willie Luttrell, Iberia; three grandchildren, Dorothy, Kacey and Nikki; four great-grandchildren, Autumn, Erren, Clayton and Reed; several step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews; nieces and many other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Lankow was preceded in death by her son, Roger Carver on August 16, 2014; her father, Snowden on January 9, 1980; her mother, Eva on June 7, 1969; three brothers, Snowden Dale Burnett, Gerald Burnett and Robert Burnett and one sister, Juanita (Ruby) Leeker as well as her grandparents.
Visitation will be held for Mrs. Lankow on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at 11 a.m. all in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, 416 North Commercial Street, Crocker, with Deacon Bryan McKenzie, Potter's House, Camdenton, officiating.
Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Antioch Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home or c/o Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home, P.O. Box 700, Crocker, MO 65452.
